Half tail?

I'm not sure if this should go in another thread, but I was curious if anyone ever makes... half of a tail. Like the 'belly' part of the tail only? I've been working on murals and neat things in my house and I was thinking it would be somewhat awesome to have a silicone tail mounted along one wall, but I wouldn't need a fully working one. So just.. half of one? Is that even something people can do?

sure would be possible, many tailmakers use scalesheets, explain to them you just want one half.

If you're willing to shell out 1-2 grand for a wall decoration, that is.

Possibly tbh. That's about how much my paintings sell for, so I'm not too phased by a wall decoration costing a ton if it's cool.

I had another question which was.. do people ever sell tails that are too damaged to swim in? DO tails get too damaged to swim in? I.. that's probably answered up in the all about tails area, I'm going to head o ver there to read some. But I would love to learn more about that too.
