I found these today, they look promising.. I might get a pair and see how far I can modify them... either with paint or rubber cement and other latex to get more of a fin look to the wrist area... etc..

i knoooooooooow thats why im determined to mess about with them, also I just learned a cool new trick to make latex things.. so I might have to come out with a sweet latex tutorial for webbed gloves.

I like the thought of a longer set, going up to the elbows maybe, with an arm fin coming off the side

I'm thinking rubber cement and latex... like the use to make latex clothing out of... its a really simple process. Once I do it, I'll post a how to. Plus im going to figure out how to make a pattern for the webbed finger gloves from latex so every one can make their own in colors they want..

These are one of the companies I contacted regarding 100% biodegradable latex. Their gloves are not only amazing but completely eco friendly I also asked if they could or would make clear of skin toned gloves, never got a reply so I'll take that as a no Still amazing company

Those are great! they make me think of Abe Sapien from the Hellboy comics and movies. I think it would be really fun to do a beautiful female version of that character.

I think the gloves are cool and would be nice if they could be painted to match skin tones.

Has anyone seen "the thirteenth year"? How do you suppose they made the arm fins? I would love to make a pair of them

Brooke, I really want a pair of arm fins as well! The only thing I've been able to think of is getting some costuming latex and doing something with that... I'm not sure how to make them stick though... maybe spirit gum?
