Just doing some research for making tails and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck making moulds out of anything besides plaster?
It was not for a tail, but I have made molds from epoxy, high strength filler, and fiberglass. The epoxy fills in all the details. The filler helps make sure the mold surface is durable. The fiberglass is on the back of the mold, and adds strength.
