I ordered a Finfolk Glaucus misprint. It's a gorgeous tail and the misprints seem to be minor enough most of the time, so I think it'll make a great first tail. I already have finis shooters to go in it.

I'm relatively knew to mermaiding as I have only been doing it a year, but I would say that if you want to upgrade from your finfolk but not quite to neoprene or silicone, go check out aquamermaid. Their customer service is awesome and their fabric tails are heavenly to swim in I have already bought three and my sister has bought two. Good luck starting your fintastic journey!
