You may get lucky like I did. My fin and tail shipped after 10 days.

Can someone explain to me the difference between the Whimsy and the Fantasea Fabric? They both use the Fantasea monofin, and there are a couple designs that come in both and they look identical to me.

Whimsy tails are made of a scuba knit material, Fantasy are made of a thicker spandex.

Okay that is what I though, thank you!

Another question is could you use the Fantasea fin in the whimsy tails that are in the shape of the Fantasea Too fin?

The fantasea too is a bit bigger than the fantasea and is made to fill the whole end part of the tail. Not having those parts filled will create a lot of drag.

Yeah that makes sense. I wasn’t sure if the tails had a monofin casing but now that I think about it that would ruin the point of the Fantasea monofins. Thanks for your reply!

No casing, they are solid and fill the whole space.

    The Sanke Butterfly tail

I'm pretty excited. It's nothing like my normal color scheme but I'm looking forward to the change.

Both sound like great choices AniaR and Theta. I guess we are all in the excited waiting camp for our tails to come. I ordered a Betta Tail Last week

Very good review, especially pointing out the difference between the two Fantaseas.

It leaves me kind of torn between the two flukes. On the one hand I would really like to go for the plus in propulsion of the Fantasea Too, but on the other hand I think the more clean shape of the original Fantasea would fit my mersona better...

The best thing would be a fin with the size and push of the Too, bit with the shape of the one.

the thing is I think the push really comes from it being wider. I feel like even if you doubled the size of the original fantasy it still wouldn't get much wider.
