I’ve seen some past reviews that said tail skins from Magictail are thinner/more sheer than some other fabric brands. I wondered if this is true of their more recent premium tails that fit the Mahina Merfin and are designed by Merman Atlas. Their composition is listed as Material: 78% recycled polyamide, 22% Xtra Life Lycra (elastane).
Has anyone has bought one of these designs this year who can weigh in on the thickness of the fabric?

They are rather sheer, swimming in bright lights or wearing dark bottoms is NOT a good idea.
If it helps, the Magictails are thinner than Fin Fun skins.

Darn, I’ve like some of their premium designs and after some complaints of the thinness of the fabric a couple years ago, I had hoped they would make improvements.

My own custom Magictail from 2017 doesn't have this problem, far as I can see. Don't have photo proof, sadly.

I recently got the blue lionfish premium magictail and there is no problem with sheerness, I can’t speak for the lighter coloured designs but I really like the fabric
