vinyl thicknesses for maintaining larger fluke designs?

Do you awesome merCrafters have any suggestions on types of vinyl for fluke shapes larger than the monofin, such as rounded shapes, or something like swimtails does with their betta flukes?

I have some cool things in the works coming in a few months if i can bust out the last few material sources

Shelf liner. You can use any thickness. It just depends on how much softness you want in the tail. I call it softness, that flowing, traily look.
