New fabric tail

I've been itching for a while to create a new tailskin, this time not for my dol-fin monofin, since it sadly died, but for my hydra monofin. It will be slow going because funds are tight, but I hope I can create it before summer. It will be based on this cute little dragon, and I got approval from the artist to use it as a reference

This will be Brill. My next one after the tail for my Luna is gonna be one for my mahina. Hope I have enough spacer fabric lol

I'm just wondering if I would use rainbow fabric or paint the rainbow parts of the tail... I'm leaning towards painting, because then it can flow more with the shape, but fabric is easier

It all depends on what final result you want to have and also you can try to go with a very bright rainbow fabric, just look online and see what you find
