Question Mythic Tail altering - would you do it?

    Hi guys!

I'm thinking of buying a mythic tail from finfolk. However, my size is sold out. So I thought I could buy a bigger one and make it smaller.

I really like the idea now, because I would be left a lot of scales ( for maybe a top...yay) and I would also get a better monofin for the same price! How much work is it really? Who has already done it? Would you do it again? Does the job pay off (consider the extra scales and the better monofin)? Help!
I would let a tailor help me taking it in. I'll likley will do all the resewing the scales by myself.

Thanks for your feedback, opinion and help.

Yeah, I would definitely do this. Free scales and a free better monofin are a huge bonus. Three of my friends have altered their mythics. The results are perfect. They are all really happy they did it. At least one of them used E6000 glue to strengthen the new seams, btw!

In the Finfolk pod squad you can find a lot of instruction

Which color are you thinking of getting?
