    Fixing leaking goggles

    Hi!

My prescription goggles are leaking. I am looking at buying either some Sugru, moldable epoxy putty or moldable glue/sealant.

Came across this silicone stuff but not sure which one would be the best one to use. Looking at buying locally instead of online.

Hoping someone expert with using silicone products can tell me which one safe. I'm leaning towards the Knead It Aqua, as its waterproof for fresh and saltwater. But as it does not say anything about chlorine, I'm kinda iffy about it.

I would look into Sugru. Epoxy may have some residual substances which are not really skin-safe. Sugru comes in two formulars, one classic one and one which is marketed as "Family safe" and skin-friendly (the FAQs state family-friendly should be used "[...] in applications where there will be prolonged contact with skin either in its uncured or cured form [...]"). And as it is a silicone, it should be water resistant and, at least for pool use, chlorine resistant.

Thankyou MermanOliver. I'll buy some Sugru on my next trip to the hardware shop.
