solution to silicone tail that sits too low?

So I got a Mertailor silicone sling back in august and it is just too short for me. These are stock sizes and not custom. I am 5'7" and it is more suited to a shorter person. It barely comes past my butt, maybe not even that. I have put it up for sale but these tails are not a hot commodity. I figure it could be ages before I sell it so maybe there is a solution to a tail sitting too low. I have not swam in it due to this. Would a Mernation gap wrap do me any good, or is there another option, or am I screwed?

Hm. I'm wondering if you can wear it with a smaller monofin? So that there is not much skin around the monofin and more of it around you.

Could you make individual silicone scales and then stick them onto you tail building upwards?

I'd probably pay somebody to do that for me

If anyone is wondering what I did - I finally sold the tail. The buyer modified it to fit a Fantasea Too.
