Silicone and sewing for a sequin tail?

So I'm making a sequin tail, but to try and combat the "shed" of sequins I will be sewing them down, and "gluing" them with silicone.

Sequins will cut through silicone eventually.

Gotcha. Maybe an aquatic-safe glue instead?

You are best off sewing the sequin on with upholstery thread and using a waterproof glue like e6000 to glue the knots so they donít unravel
