Info for great lakes pod meet-up?

For all you mers in the great lakes pod-
I would love to have all the details about the meet-up in the Dells this august. Like:

what hotel to book at
how many mers will be there
exact dates

Thank you all! Im brand new to this forum and I want to be able to connect with as many mers as I can, since it seems like im the only mer in my area that I know of. I love to meet some other mers in my area before the meet-up.

MermaidRuby, are you on facebook? There is a facebook group that has the details of the meetup as things are being worked out... if not I or someone else will happily bring the info back here for you as it gets posted, just let me know.

I am on facebook, but when it comes to facebook, Im a little inept. I'm only able to post, like and add friends with any profecincy. I have looked at the facebook group, but I get a little confused.

That's ok, not everyone is a facebook master, lol. I can bring the info here for you as it is posted.
At present the only thing that has been set is the date, August 14th - 16th. There is a facebook event page for this and if you opt to try accessing it you can find it at

Also, if you want to pm me your facebook name I can invite you to that event page directly, then all you'd need to do is respond to the invite. (might make it less complicated for you)
