I'm looking at this, not to buy it. It says silicone but the tail looks plastic, and cushion padded. Anyone heard of this tailmaker?

Given that it is on Amazon I would wager an asian knock off (that isn't to say everything Asian or overseas is a knock off for example Mermaid Inc and Mermaid Star Thailand are both outstanding). It doesn't even look like silicone. Idk what it looks like, it is clearly a thin material. Skeptical of the single review on there as well. If I was gonna order an overseas silicone tail, would definitely not do it on Amazon.

I would say it isn't the dragonskin silicone, but it might have silicone in it. I wouldn't risk it, it's probably not safe materials. There are basic beginner silicone tails on Etsy starting at $900 if price is really the issue and you can actually communicate with the maker.
I would suggest emailing the seller though and asking for more pictures or more information on their process to know for sure.

I've zoomed right in at the photos and it doesn't look silicone to me. There's seams sticking out the sides and everything

It just looks like the plastic vinyl you put on tables. Details look flat, no texture so I don't know how they can call it a silicone tail.
Also, I just checked to see if they are on fb. Yep. They sell the knock off Fin Fun tails.

Figures. Trade Winds knows a knock off when she sees one. Those 4-point flukes make me SO uncomfortable. (It's apparently a design from an Asian mermaid movie.)

I don’t trust it simply because it can be sent by June 1st. I don’t know much about tail making however I’m sure 3 days timeframe is not possible for an legitimate silicone tail.

I think the pics may be stolen, because I've seen an etsy seller sell the same tails. I can link it if you would like
