What paint to use with silpoxy to repair a tail

I have looked up what color paint was used for my silicone mermaid tail and I found two versions, oil paint and acrylic. Now I'm guessing I'll have to use the oil paint but just to be sure I wanted to ask the community what is best. It's about Winsor & Newton paint in silver.

Traditional oil paint takes at least two weeks to a month to be touch dry. Acrylic paint will just crack when dry, unless you add some kind of medium to it.
As for painting on the silicone itself, its best to ask your tail maker.
