New Mermaid!

I'm Mermaid Seascape (just came up with it recently, but I love it). I've almost always had an interest in mermaids, but not in mermaiding until fairly recently. I've seen videos and I love swimming, so I figured that this would be a great new hobby (hopefully a new job later on). I actually love their tails, like dolphins, orcas, etc. The beautiful colors, their beauty, their voices, etc. I have 2 tails (one is coming in) and one monofin coming in. An orca tail and a purple, blue, and pink tail (I am planning on naming them, though). So far, I'm leaning towards Rainbow Rain for the purple, blue, and pink tail (it has sparkles... you can't feel them, though). I'll see how that fits when I get them in the water. They're both fabric tails, no silicone tail for me yet.
I'm looking forward to meeting new mermaids/mermen!

That's cute! I just ordered the Moon Maiden tail from Mertailor. It's mainly purple and pink!

My goal is to eventually get a silicone tail as well, but that won't be until I'm out of college and have a stable job!

Hello Seascape, I'm glad you could join us. Welcome to the community! Personally when the time comes i think i will just upgrade to a neoprene tail, since i feel that silicone tails seem quite easy to grow out of.

Thank you! I do have a question about the neoprene tails: can you get them custom made like the silicone tails? If so, I might just get one instead, as well. I have a few ideas for a silicone tail design!

To my knowledge custom neoprene tails are a thing you can in fact buy, but you would have to do additional research as I am unable to name the shops that sell them off the top of my head.
