SIRENS OF THE CARIBBEAN
The island of Cozumel is the ultimate siren destination. This tropical paradise is located off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and has the second-largest coral reef system in the world! The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is an incredible spot to swim into the turquoise Caribbean waters.
Join us for a one-week mermaid retreat in Cozumel. The retreat is filled with education, open water mermaid training sessions, yoga, breath work, underwater photoshoots, boat rides, incredible sunsets and community building activities.
All levels of experience are welcome!
To attend this retreat, you do not need certifications, previous dive or mermaid but you must know how to swim. All participants can earn the SSI mermaid certification: mermaid, ocean mermaid and the model mermaid specialty. Evelien Peeters, aka mermaid Evi, will teach the SSI mermaid program during this event.
Merfolk who already have the pool mermaid certification (from any agency) and want to join to improve their ocean mermaid skills, will receive a small discount.

⪼ The retreat includes:
✧7 nights in the Tamarindo bnb, a green oase in the city of San Miguel de Cozumel and just 4 blocks away of the oceanfront. The rooms are two-share accommodation. A traditional Mexican breakfast is included in your stay. The first night and the last one, we will host a special rooftop dinner while watching the sunset.
✧8 In water training sessions with a professional mermaid instructor.
✧ Workshops: underwater make up and posing theory and guided photoshoots.
✧ One beach shoot, 2 underwater photoshoots and 10 edited pictures from the award winning photographer Quico Abadal.
✧ 2 days on a boat in the Carribean
✧ The SSI mermaid certification
⪼ What is not included?
✧ Flights and transport from and to the airport.
✧ For lunch and dinner, we will go each day to a different restaurant. We advise to bring 6000 pesos (300 usd) for food, drinks and a small souvenir.

Fill out the registration form, in the ticketlink, and we’ll be in touch in a timely manner. Payments are handled by Humarine.
Upon registration you pay a deposit of 500 USD. Payment plans are possible. The final payment is due in April.
