    Mermaid Photo Shoot Props

Can anybody think of some props that might work well for an outdoor mermaid photo shoot? I'm going to be having my first mermaid photo shoot at the beginning of July, very excited, and the photographer has been asking me if there are any certain prop pieces I would like to have. She has thought of a couple of interesting ideas including shells, starfish and a Victorian looking mirror that would work well. But I would love some additional ideas from you all

    Pirate coins!!
Maybe some jewelery you can have laying around. Seaweed or basically plant props that you
could drape over or near you. Maybe some flowers too? A fake crab or turtle prop. Pearls...
I always find flowy, sheer fabrics look nice above and underwater.

I do have tons of vintage looking jewelry I could use. Love the idea of a fork, Nemefish!! Since I live here in Colorado where there is no coastline we were going to do an outdoor location around one of the lakes here that have very small beach areas around them Just need a really nice sunny day.
