Here's a new one. It's colorful and from the Wrasse family. To be specific, it is a Melanurus Fairy Wrasse.

Anyone know what kind of fish that is? I drew up a tail design based off of it.

i tried finding it, but it always just said "pink fish" or whatever, so i didn't find out what it is

    I love this thread!!!
I was lucky enough when I took my certification dive for scuba, to see one if these guys!
The Grunt Sculpin is THE coolest fish, this species found in the pacific northwest He moves really neat like too

And back when I had my 55gal saltwater tank I had this guy along with two green spotted puffers, I sure miss them!

    A long horned cowfish.

I guess I should post actual pictures of my babies ^_^
    Here they are
This is Tweak, he was an inch long when I got him and when he died he was about 9in long... miss him
He'd give your finger kisses when you'd stick it in the tank, as well as follow you as you walked around the room lol

And this is Yoshi and Spaulding, hilarious little guys. They loved clams on the halfshell ^_^

If you cannot buy local, you can try LiveAquaria (I assume she has a saltwater tank). They do seem to have some of the regular squarebacks in stock. You'd need a few, as they do best in groups. Get at least one male and one female, as they have different coloration. Oh, and if you get all females, don'tbe surprised if one changes into a male - they're hermaphroditic.

Yes she has a saltwater tank with clownfish and an anemone and some sort of shrimp. I'm not sure what else is in there, though.
Woah. :O Hahaha that's so cool. **wakes up one morning** "Oh look, Keisha got a sex change!"

You're looking at my peppermint I took care of him in quarantine. He's now on display in our Reef Machine exhibit. 1 of 2 captive specimens in the world.
