    my mermaid pasties and other things

    I really love the idea of topless mermaids but my boyfriend isent very comfortable with the idea yet so instead I made a micro top out of silicone pasties. I bought them at Walmart in the undies section and glued shells, beads, and plastic seaweed onto them using e 6000 glue.
    What do u think?

    They are self adhesive and they sell a strapless bra version too which is pretty cool and I might buy afterwards.
    I hope they stay on when wet!
    For now I'm going to use them for a dry shoot on friday.

    Thank you! I am a bit scared they will fall off so I'm not gonna get them wet. The adhesive is very strong on it and iv used these pasties many times before and in never had problems with them comming off. I'll post the pics of the shoot next week, but Friday night il let u guys know how it went.

    I've always been curious about whether those stay on in water. Also, is spirit gum waterproof? I just looked up this thread on spirit gum, but I'm not sure what the final verdict on it was.

    My impression is that spirit gum is waterproof, since it is a resin-like stuff. In testing out the pasties I made recently I used Benzoin tincture which is also like a resin, and it worked in water as long as it wasn't tampered with too much. The spirit gum, I would think, would probably make a stronger bond between skin and pastie. Unfortunately I can't get a hold of any spirit gum to test right now, though, so I'm just guessing.

    I might buy some just in case but silicon pasties stay on pretty well. Another good way of giving a topless effect is buying sticker pasties from wallmart, they stay on in water really well.
