I went back and edited those posts, so they should be showing up now. It is weird since I did the exact same thing for each post and some show whereas others were error messages. I can see them all. Did it work?

Thanks, guys! Next step is waiting for So Cal to get slightly warmer water so I can take it into the ocean (most likely Catalina, La Jolla or Laguna) to start!
This came out really lovely! I love the idea of the scales not being exactly like each other. Does look more natural.
First layer of paint on the back side of the tail.
Close up of back side of fluke with first pass of paint.

The colors are beautiful!!
I can't see the last two pictures though....it says invalid attachment....
Edited posts so the images should be visible again. I can see them fine.
looks amazing! its nice to see another California mermaid's work on the forms, I haven't heard of any mermaids in Cali, its nice to know I'm not the only one
There may be some people who criticize that tail but damn, that thing is going to last forever! It has the most beautiful colors and is quite possibly, the most rugged tail I've ever seen.

Back fins after casting, before painting.
Back fins after I painted them to match the tail. Added gold accents to the tips.
