    Wow, people have really beautiful accessories!
    Here are two of mine- not as stunning as the jewelry, but I'm a practical kind of mer

    The belt used to be a fugly all-black scuba dive belt.
    It's now dark green, with stuff sewed on, and neon green netting to let the water flow from the three compartments.

    The bag is a really tightly woven net, which I usually attach to the diving belt.

    I also have lots of necklaces and armbands not photographed yet;
    my resources to make them are a bit limited though, since I won't use real animals.

    I agree about the pearls. I'm more drawn to pearls as being part of my future accesories than any other decoration.

    Pearls...they are just so elegant, beautiful and yet oddly simple in design.
