    My "New" Mertailor tail

So, after waiting a month to get my tail back from Eric, I finally got a better idea of what it's like to have one of his tails! I have read a lot of people have been having the problem with their tails coming too big -- and I was no exception. He offered to correct the problem, and I gladly shipped it back to him. When I got into it yesterday, I found it fit pretty well on land (still a tad loose), but once I got into the water, it was definitely still just a little bit too big! I was hoping my belt I had made would help, but I had a really hard time getting my belt to tie tight enough to hold the tail.

But, once in the water, I still had a better time swimming than I thought! I had to adjust the monofin straps (they were let almost all the way out), but once that was taken care of, all was just gravy! New pics will be posted soon!!

I waited just shy of 4 months to get it initially, and a month to get it back from being altered.
