    Movies
I am a major movie buff. In fact, I taught film studies to a college credit high school class for a little while and loved it. If I ever went to grad school, I might major in film studies.
    Pan's Labyrinth
Let the Right One In (These 2 are currently tied for favorite movie)
Moulin Rouge! (Pretty much defined high school for me I loved it so much.)
    The Bicycle Thief
    The Maltese Falcon
    Casablanca
    Psycho
Fargo, No Country for Old Men, True Grit--love me some Coen brothers
    Most Disney movies
    Brokeback Mountain
Pirates of the Caribbean (The first 3 are the best, though I sure did love those mermaids!)
    Anything directed by Sofia Coppola

    TV Shows
    Glee
    True Blood
Dexter (though I need to catch up!)
So You Think You Can Dance (can't dance, but love to watch dance of all kinds)
Law and Order SVU (some of the best writing and acting on television IMO)
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (don't judge me.)

    Books
I was an English major, so I really love books! I'll just list a few favorites.
    Jane Eyre
    Othello
All of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. The Little Mermaid is my favorite fairy tale of all time
The Southern Vampire Mysteries (need to read the latest book!)
Specimen Days (Marry me Michael Cunningham! I know you're gay but we could make it work.)
Stardust (I love Neil Gaiman! I was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago; he's such a nice guy)
    The Road (movie rocked too!)
    Mansfield Park
    Northanger Abbey
The Handmaid's Tale (This one was tough for me, as I come from a conservative religious background.)

I also really love musicals. My favorite is Blood Brothers, followed by maybe The Phantom of the Opera.

Omg we do don't we! Love love love The Virgin Suicides; I did a project in college on Sofia Coppola and a lot of it was about that film. I also love Rear Window, and now I'm wanting to see Insidious even more because someone with such good taste in movies likes it. :P
