    I
don't blow bubble from my nose. It takes a bit of practice and the tolerance of the sting from the water, but you get used to it ;D

Aiera, you're so graceful in the water! Is your monofin a finis competitor?

I imagine it's the same as doing one lying down but with a bit more force behind it, and hands used for emphasis.

It's possible! I knocked over my weighed down camera with quite a good amount of force with bubble kisses before.

WOW! So cool. I've figured out Raven's bubble ring kisses already, if you do a bubble kiss against a wall then they will separate and form a ring. Otherwise I don't know about that trick. SO cool!

Bubbles can have a lot of force, even in a small ring. :-) I need to learn this trick.

I spent the last 2 days in the pool learning how to do this after I saw that gif... I was so excited the first time I got it to work. Any more things like this that anybody knows about?

How did you train it in a pool?
Not many loose stone towers in the average pool

Tried today. Couldn't even make a ring lol.
(To my defense, it was freaking cold and I had to keep swimming nonstop)

You are absolutely right not many rocks in my pool :P - , I just meant the ring part. I'm heading down south in a couple of weeks and will try pushing stuff over then.

And sorry to hear about how cold it is for you, I'm in NW Florida, and its still pretty hot here.

WOO! Bubble rings! This morning in the pool I actually got a *slight* sideways bubble kiss to work. Not near as perfect as the gif but there was some noticeable swirling going on. It made me so happy! Now just to perfect it, haha. :P

This one is just about "Vortex Rings", but it has a better segment on the dolphins:

I've been obsessed with the horizontal ring for the last couple of days... I FINALLY was able to make one today! You don't hear that "thump" like you do when making bubble rings the other way... I also found that it takes a lot less air (at least for me) than you think. The most important thing is that you have to be SUPER still when you do it, and keep your fists closed during the entire motion!

    Hopefully this helps!

Here is another video.. He does the process of closing/placing the fists pretty slowly so you can see... and also shows you another way to position your hands.

My husband and I have been at my mother-in-law's house while our A/C unit is being replaced. The best thing is that she has a huge in ground swimming pool that is chlorine free (ecosmart system) AND she makes me pancakes. It's amazing being able to just walk out the door and practice bubble rings.
