I know right! He moved there because he lost MILLIONS of dollars FROM THE GOVERNMENT'S ISSUES. And now they expect him to pay them to live on the island that isn't even theirs?

That's quite sad. He's going to lose because of a lease he signed when he was a very different person. It's really too bad something can't be done. Very unfair, and I don't care that life is often unfair, it would be nice if this could end differently.

To be fair, yes he made a promise and didn't keep it. And his acting now is too little too late. But it still is just a shame all around. I'd rather someone who loves the place so dearly be the one to work out the development. Instead it will be just another huge, over expensive resort area.

Investors. That's how people all over develop without having all the cash or credit on their own.

He can build it if he can get the investors. However, now that he's moving on that, they're saying it's too late basically. It seems like someone else is probably ready to do the job, already has the investors.

I just don't see how they can't just let him move if he owed them, and leave the island alone. The government has to ruin all natural beauty to make digital and faux empires to rule in.
