I live North of you. My very rural town finally got a chain grocery store a few years back, though I miss the old food mart.

Your image is awesome, by the way. It sort of reminds me of Sally from Nightmare before Christmas for some reason.

Hi!
I'm from the area....
Not much of a good swimmer though >>;
I have a fear of going under water.....
When I was little, I couldt swim at all.... so whenever my mom asked me if I wanted to go to the pool, I'd jump up and down and yell yes, but I always gave her a heart attack cuz I never want to get out of the water no matter what xD

Im planning to get over my fear this summer

any tips for holding breath and stuff....?

Start really slow. If you are afraid, start in the shallow end and just put your face in and blow bubbles. (It's really fun!) Go with a buddy who swims well and have them show you their tricks. Start out swimming underwater where you can easily stand up and have your head above water. Try putting your head under at the 3 ft section or even just the bathtub to get used to the feeling, and to learn the best way to keep water out of your nose. Find a cheap pair of goggles that fit your face fairly well so you can see/not get chlorine in your eyes. Good luck!
