Help with posting pictures directly onto the forum.

Whenever I click the "Insert Image" button, they never insert into my posts. I have to click the button several times before it works, IF it does work. I'd really like to get it directly into the post, so you don't have to click. I've cleared my cookies and cache, and I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Any help? =\

I'm sorry your having trouble. Are you inserting images that are on your computer, or from a URL? If you do it from a URL you need to unclick the box that says Retrieve remote file and reference locally. Also it could be that the file size or dimensions are too big.

I've tried both. Let me see...
Did this work? Maybe it's just not working in quick reply. This was from a URL. Then one from my computer...

Size: 40.6 KB

I don't think this one worked.

Mal, this hasn't been working for me for over a month. I started a thread about it. I tried different browsers and computers. The photos ONLY post if I type the code.

The photo function is working for me. I found out a trick: Hit the enter key to skip down a few lines, then either hit the up arrow on your keyboard a few times or click back up to the line a few lines up with your mouse. Then use the uploader. Works every time for me. I do that for every image, it takes literally 2 seconds. Sorry we can't make a better fix, guys. Still no idea what's causing it

To help maintain the server, they made the change so pictures can’t be uploaded directly to the Mernetwork. You would have to link the picture in the thread. The changes occurred last year I believe.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... that's what I ended up doing more or less, posting to my website, then copying and pasting.

Other forums I use seem to also have limited space. Thanks all.

Tapatalk is the best app to use this forum on I can post as many pics as I want and it’s simple and easy I recommend Tapatalk app to all. I believe it’s in the signature below my words.
The app give you the option to resize your images to within the sites limit so no need to resize or crop your images elsewhere.
