Sorry for lack of updates y'all. Been doing finals and preparing for mermaid stuff IRL. During my 3 week winter break I should have plenty of time.

On average, 2 - 5 hours? Depends on the level of detail and how distracted I am.
I need to go over to that "goals list" and make a new list for myself because I need to motivate myself as I rush through finals.

What can I say, I'm very meticulous. I also go through a lot of trial and error in a design, or start over all together.

Haha sorry everyone I just reached a really busy spell and lost track of this. School is demanding - well, life is demanding. Between a paid business card design and a design for a company making an App (not to mention my homework), I'll try to find time to do another design!
I thought this would be cool idea for a mermaid / merman combo, because this fish displays sexual dimorphism, shown in the pic. I think that's the female on the top.

This is a royal gramma, on of my favorites. The way the yellow fades to the purple is gorgeous.
These are just my ideas, but if you like them and can find the time I'd love to see what you come up with ^u^

I agree with the above--the royal gramma being a design by you would be really cool. The way you blend things is just amazing.
What about these 2? Pinecone fish and Pajama fish.I saw them at the aquarium and thought they might make cool tail patterns.
