Thanks! I'm loving it too! I might tweak it slightly, we'll see when I get to working on it though.

Thanks! I use Photoshop CS6 (I refuse to go to Cloud mainly because of affordability in the long term) for all my digital works.
The larger images of these that are considerably less pixellated can be seen here -

My tail design is kind of simple. I'm going for humpback whale/spotted dolphin (ALL THE SPOTS). Since I'll be using the tail with a matching wetsuit and a Lunocet monofin, the pattern will hopefully serve as a distraction from edges and such.

Hello! I'm working on a purple and silver narwhal design.

And this is my headdress by Ethereal Creatures ( https://www.facebook.com/etherealcreatures/ )

I'm hoping to reshape a Finis rapid into the heart shape of the narwhal fluke and make a painted neoprene tail around it.

Oooh, I like the integration of the purple peonies into the headdress!

I don't know if it uploaded correctly from my iPad but the tail I'm making is a deep burgundy with black fins. I may add side and back fin as well. Planning on using the finis foil monofin.

Paying with colors for my narwhal. Pardon the very basic outline I'm getting used to drawing with my fingers on my phone lol. Last picture is a reference for the markings.

I can't quite decide whether I want the back to gradually become a darker blue, or to mirror the underside.

So purty! And did you use watercolors for the drawing of the dorsal?
It has been established. I. Am. A. Feesh. And sometimes a Shaymin.

Thank you! The whole thing is watercolor, actually (except for the black, which is ink). I think it works well for tail designs because it's very easy to build up different shades and blends.

Woah, these are beautiful! I am awful at drawing, but I have a few good ideas for tail concepts. When I actually draw them up some time, I will post them here.
And when he opened his mouth, the most beautiful sound came out. A high baritone vibrated throughout the sea, and suddenly all was quiet and harmonious. That is, until the next note.
