My design for my Mertailor mermaid. Inspired by the Mahi-Mahi / Dorado / Dolphin fish. I grew up with these fish and it was how I became part of the Sea.

I would if I was allowed more colors. Only allowed 4. Unless I take away the darker green.

Personally? For a dorado/mahi mahi, I'd skip the dark green and go straight for the blue. Without it, the inspiration isn't as obvious.

I think they all lookg super pretty! Though the butterfly ones would feel heavy with those big fins.

Thank you very much!! Yeah, I agree that the fins would definitely create an insane amount of drag...would probably scale them down if I were to ever make them =D

I've seen spellbounds with more colors. Is it something you can pay extra for or is he just not doing it anymore? (I can't find info on the order page or his FAQ.)

Some ideas I'm kicking around for a Loki-inspired mernation genesis tail. I'm not in love with the spots, but I feel like black needs to be on it somewhere? If I do pull this trigger, it would have to be next year at the earliest. I would really love a unique and affordable silicone tail, but I'm having a hard time justifying spending that money when I have no plans to go professional. I'm never going to earn it back XD not unless a pod of pros moves into town and wants some disappointing backup. I don't know, we'll see.

I love it! My tail was inspired by Loki too! Maybe you could add black stripes/ridges down the fluke instead of dots?

That's lovely. Yeah I'm getting there with the materials for making mine. The sequins came the other day so I'm chuffed its just taking forever. Lol
