    Monofin and more to gooo

    Hiiii everybody.....how ya all doin?!!....hope everybody's doing great...finished making amateur monofins inspired by Mermaid Linden's half-moon crescent shape style and my lil nephew and niece seem more excited than I expecte...what a blessing ehh?!!

    My friend tried the tail on but he said that It was too short to fully go all the way up to the waist...and too tight till the knees...guess i'm gonna have to make slight alterations...sighh!!

    Last night my little niece came over and I made her "test wear" it after securing it safely with about 25 safety pins first LOL!!... to see how tight or loose it would look on her and to make the necessary alterations if at all...Yupp gotta snip away more fabric....but I must say she was quite the lil trooper model for my fitting haha

    I had underestimated how kinda big her feet were...so here's me enlarging the size of her footpockets and re-sewing it again with strong thread used for sewing up shoes...Sighhh!!

    @ Merfantasy... Sighh!!!... As it turns out on the big "test the tail out" day at a pool on a family picnic day. ..She didn't know how to swim with it...She didn't know how to swim period!!... YIKES!!.. LOL!!. The other kids would have loved to put it on and try swimming with it but alas the tail was too small for them... Double sighhh!! ...Let's just hope I can come across a kid who can fit well into the tail, who's already adept at and make her/him swim with the tail
