    Lightbulb Finally making my way under the sea.. !

    'Ello! My name is Stephanie (mermaid name Sireia), and I am so very excited to finally have discovered the MerNetwork!

    As a child, I was fascinated by underwater life, wanted to become a marine biologist, did all my Science reports on various sea creatures, watched mermaid movies all the time, and it was my dream to go to Sea World and swim with the dolphins. I even pretended to have a monofin when swimming at pools! Somehow, as I grew up, I became a professional fire performer instead But, I never forgot the first time that I saw a mermaid performer's website (I believe it was Hannah Fraser). I have always found myself being pulled towards bodies of water wherever I am, and I felt very deeply (and always told everyone) that my element was Water, despite performing with fire. In 2012, I finally took up scuba diving and absolutely fell in love with the feeling of breathing underwater and being at peace with floating, watching underwater life go by!

    I look forward to meeting and chatting with all the other merfolk on here, and finally deciding on a fabric tail to begin swimming with! I'm leaning strongly towards the Dragon Tail by Mermagica.. <3
