the choices in features, eyes, and hair are limited and the background is kinda off but hopefully it will be getting a upgrade and this isn't all we are left with

I love how this thread seems to fall asleep and wake up every once in a while! Those Sailor Moon designs a few pages back just completely blew me away! I wanted to post some of my designs just for the heck of it ^_^

Based on a fish called itoyori in Japanese, I think in English it's a type of sea bream? The actual fish has vertical stripes, but Doll Divine doesn't offer those, and on a mermaid I think these look better anyway.

A seaweed/lake algae mermaid. I was just messing around with some more natural colors with this one.

And finally just for the lulz, a watermelon-dwelling mermaid. She magically turns the fruit around her into liquid in order to swim around, and it changes back to a solid after she passes through. Her fluke is even a leaf-based shape, haha!
I also made a cosmic design after Mermaid Tula's thread inspired me, but I don't want to steal her thunder so I won't post it until she has had a chance to flesh hers out a bit. Thanks for the inspiration everyone! Sorry my post got so long but I didn't want to post over and over and clog the feed. I'd love some feedback if anyone has anything to say!
Thank you! The story with Sticks in it was actually kind of based around the movie How to Train Your Dragon (ship free, haha). I just thought it would be fun to write about how Hiccup (the main character if people are unfamiliar) discovers a mermaid, who ends up following him on land because she wants his help. I haven't written a chapter or anything yet, just a page full of brainstorming ideas.Originally Posted by Mermaid Ava
