Share your mer experiences (help me with my homework?)

Hi guys, I signed up planning to become a active member ofthe community back in December… right before Christmas and the start of thespring semester of College so obviouslythat didn’t happen.
But it is due to collage homework that I am posting today, long story short I am taking a HTML/CSS class and I want to do the next Two webpages one Mermaiding (I’m tired of just using a my “about me” info) the thingis I don’t have a tail and am not a mermaid/water dragon (yet) so I was hopingyou all could help me by telling me about your experiences. (any info shared will be used an myhomework/website and will be taken down as soon as the semester is over)
I’d like to know things like:
    how you got intomermaiding,
how did you save upfor your first tail,
did you design your own tail?,
when/where do you wear your tail?,
do you use your interest in mermaids to teach people aboutthe ocean?
    Do you work with kids?
Have you had to deal with harassment due to your tail? (Iknow there’s a board for this but just thought I’d throw it out there anyway.
Do you have a significant other? How do they feel about youbeing a mer?
Please feel free to tell me about anything I might not havethought of.

Well here's what I have so far for you <3

How did I get into mermaiding: I've loved mermaids all my life, watched many mermaid movies, read everything I could get my hands on about mermaids, and a few years back saw a video of the Weeki Wachi mermaids and decided that I wanted to do.

How I saved up for my tail: I'm making my own, so what ever I have from my checks that doesn't go to my daughter goes towards my tail. So far, I have just about everything I need for my fabric tail.

Did you design your own tail: Yes I did.

When/Where do you wear your tail: My College has a pool where I've confirmed that I can swim (went there today with just my monofin). Also a few other pools, both public and private, and when I travel, I'll be going into the ocean if I can, and rivers and lakes.

Do you use your interest in mermaids to teach people about the ocean: Yes,as well as the rivers and lakes and keeping nature clean and healthy.

Do you work with kids: Yes. I have a 5 year old, and I have several friends who have kids who are all interested in mermaids. I'm going to be doing birthday parties and other events once my tail is 100% finished.

Have you had to deal with harassment due to your tail: So far no. I haven't gone out before, but if someone starts to harass me over my tail, I would calmly tell them to stop or I'll ask to have them removed. (unless it's at a beach or a private party, then I'll ask them to leave politely.)

Do you have a significant other? How do they feel about you being a mer: I do. My hubby is pretty awesome and supportive. He is also my mertender and helps me out when ever I need it.

    I hope this helps ^_^

How did you get into mermaiding- I've loved mermaids ever since I learned how to swim haha, when I was little I used to saran wrap my legs with fins..almost drowned a couple of times but ehh worth it =]
ow did you save upfor your first tail- I made my first two neoprene and silicone but then I have a VERY loving fiance who bought me a performance silicone tail from merbellas as a wedding gift
did you design your own tail- Yes ma'am I think it is important to come up with your own ideas, looking at other tails is not wrong but try to make it your own don't just copy someone else's work
when/where do you wear your tail- My soon to be in-laws have this GORGEOUS pool with fountains that I swim at. Also community college pools, local pools I lifeguard at and soon to be Belize =]
do you use your interest in mermaids to teach people aboutthe ocean- YES! I think kids today should have a better understanding of the ocean and we can protect and clean it up to ensure our fellow fishy friends a long life
Do you work with kids- Outside of mermaiding yes with a local church group but I also want to start up a program to swim with kids and teach them about the ocean or all the different types of fish, also do birthday parties!
Have you had to deal with harassment due to your tail? (Iknow there’s a board for this but just thought I’d throw it out there anyway- I personally have not, I was a little fearful of what my friends would think when they saw me in my tail but I forgot that they've known me as a mermaid since they've met me sooo it worked out. I'm hoping that when I get out into the community more that this type of thing won't be a problem but someone always have something negative to say about a person's happiness =/
Do you have a significant other? How do they feel about youbeing a mer? Yes I do we are getting married in June. He's been very supportive of me and my tails (helped me build my first two) He wants to see me happy and live out my dreams as a mermaid in any way (including a rather large tattoo of scales going down my leg haha) He welcomes it and while he may not want a tail (yet) he does enjoy the monofin and trying to jump out of the water like the kid in the 13th year

Hoped this helped =] It's always fun answering questions about one's passion for mermaids

I wish I was away in Ingo
Far away across the briny sea
    Sailing over deepest waters
Where love nor care never trouble me

Hello. I've struggled with a fair share of writing assignments in the past, and I get how overwhelming it can be. That's why finding a reliable argumentative essay writing service like www.domyessay.net has been a game-changer for me. Their team delivered a well-structured, articulate piece that not only saved me time but also helped me understand the structure and approach needed for such essays. It's essential to use these services as a learning aid rather than a way to avoid the work.
