    My Merbellas Tail Over Time

So, I get a LOT of emails about how my tails have held up. I was going to put this at the end of my review, but I realized I only posted it in the review part of the forum, not in the discussion part (to allow for comments!) so, if you want to see when I first got my tail, in epic detail, check out my review here: http://mernetwork.com/index/showthre...rbella-Studios

So a few things to keep in mind:
My tail is the first one she made, and was the one she experimented with. Some design things have changed and you don't see them in the tails she has made since. My tail is also SUPER thin, I don't believe she does it unless on request. This was special because of my health issues

So, here's my tail last year

Now here's my tail, after 15 months of non stop use, in chlorine, salt, and fresh water. After being dragged (accidentally) across rocks, sand, concrete, and more... The ONLY damage on my tail came from my mertender trying to fit it into luggage and bending the fluke- it tore a small hole at the end of the monofin which Raven taught me how to fix, 2 small holes I poked at the thing waist line (remember, my tail is like, mm thick) when I slipped at a dry gig and tried to catch myself, (again, Raven told me how to fix it and I did and you can't see anything) and now that I've lost weight it's baggy on me hahaha The paint hasn't chipped or come off, and it's holding up really well as you can see.

Here's a video clip, though keep in mind as I said, I've lost weight so it's baggy now

I am sending Raven my tail on Monday and she's going to take it in for me, and add some extra fins, and I think do some more painting? I'm not sure... I told her to do whatever and paid her rush fee so I can get it back quickly I wanted people to see all the before too so I can show you the after when it comes back!

for interest sake, people often ask me how big it is:

I just have to say, it is crazy amazing how well your tail is lasting considering it is Raven's first silicone tail! So awesome
she believed she could, so she did

I love your tail so much and I'm super anxious to see what she does with it! <3 And it's amazing how it's holding up, too!
