Anyone with an otterbay mermaid wetsuit?

Found out about them in the Scuba subforum.

While I would never do a scuba dive in one of those (dolphin kick and tank= big no-no),
I thought they could be good for longer swims and deeper freedives, keeping you warm and basically replacing a "normal" tail.

Would love to hear if anyone here owns one-
how well the suit insulates, how fast/strong the swimming is compared to a conventional tail, etc.

(the gold and silver coloured ones also look stunning!)

Mermaid Linden of Mermaids in Motion has used several of her suits and says many good things about them. There's some footage of her online swimming in them

I've seen the footage, really pretty.

I was thinking of getting a suit since all non-pool waters I do have access to are ice cold, year round,
thus a suit would come in handy, even if it's only 3mm thick and thus not really made for truly cold waters.

I was considering a wetsuit too, but there seem to be none that would fit me.
They are all cut to fit men.
The only business I found selling wetsuits for women will only fit if you are around 5ft
(as if there were no women taller than that), so yea.

I don't like those black ninja-like wetsuit look anyway.
