To give you another example. I am on day 341 and my tail was started at the end of Feb/beginning of March. I just received my first update since then on the 6th of this month(June) saying my tail was built(not painted) and Raven was going to be pulling the fins from the mold and to expect pictures soon. Still waiting on pictures. I figure I'll see progress pictures in a week or two. Hope this helps give you an idea of what to expect. The waiting is the hardest, but so so worth it!
