    Crescent Lake Meetup, July

    From the FB Pod Group:
    "Sorry I dropped of the face of the planet for a bit guys. Getting ready for Paradiso had me super busy! So I still want to do a meetup at the gorgeous Lake Crescent outside of Port Angeles this month. I would advise only strong swimmers for this for safety reasons. Saturday the 13th looks best for me! (If you guys wanted to do the 20th or 27th I’d need a ride.) We’ll have at least 1 GoPro to shoot with "

    The lake is chilly to cold since it's a glacier fed lake, but that also means it's so clear and extremely beautiful!

    Ugh I wish we were all closer!
    I don't think I can make it...
    I remember driving by lake crescent and thinking how gorgeous it was (accidental drive by on my way to my scuba cert. dives).
    Is there camping in that area? I wonder if that would make it easier for the hubby and I to come then rest before we drive back.... ? Hmm...

    I believe there are camping areas, yes! I had thought of having a night camping there this summer myself so I could see more of the lake. Like the tide pools which are apparently really cool.

    Noooo! The only time I'll be in Washington this year and I cant make it. Who knows, I might see you guys another time! I'll be swimming in Puget Sound for quite a bit. Monofining, all my tails are being repaired/created anyways...

    I am checking on my work schedule today when I go on. Providing I can get both Saturday and Sunday off (which should be easy since I'm oncall) Mr Orca and I will make the 4.5 hour drive to meet up with you all there. ... We are at 90% sure we will make it.

    Lake Crescent is my absolute favorite lake! Its so beautiful! Wish I could go, but I have a community service event on the 13th Very jealous! Have fun, perhaps next time I can go
