Man they make Rikki sound like she has a sad existence "replacing the friend's she's lost." I mean, I know they're just setting her up for being excited to meet more mermaids but come on. Interesting back story about what she has done career wise. I'm hoping she throws a line or two in there to let us know what Emma, Cleo, and Louis have been up to.

Me too! I hope that the friends didn't truly break up, but just lost touch when they all moved apart I guess. I hope they all have had solid lives and Rikki can provide updates...my hopes are high, though.

SPOILERS:
I think they hid it in the first season, but in the second they used the blue stone in it to activate the merman chamber but when Zac shut it off and the mermaids revived him the stone was destroyed/turned to dust/what have you. So yes, the trident is now a non-issue as far as I recall.

so I'm on netflix and this is how they have it broken down
Season 1: 26 episodes
Season 2: 13 episodes
Season 3: 13 episodes

so according to Netflix the upcoming season IS season 4


and I know it was talked about before but up until now my netflix (which is apparently from an alternate reality) had only two seasons listed

O.o I am clearly it of the loop but they are continuing this show?! I thought it was like a decade old and they had the spinoff that didn't last long. What did I miss (don't feel pressured to answer, I can do my own research xD just confused and surprised and possibly happy.)


Edit: so I believe my confusion stems from the fact that I think everything is older then it is. The spinoff started only a few years ago. I saw season one and thought that was it. *scampers off to watch season 2*

The show is H2o Just Add Water. The spinoff is Mako Mermaids/Mako Island of Secrets. H2o has ended and Mako has one more upcoming season and then a movie. There is also an Animated version of H2o called H2o Mermaid Adventures

So Merley from Hawaii visited us up in Brisbane last week so Kelda, Merman Jamie and myself went up and had a meet up with her. My mum was our mer tender for the day and answered all the questions from the civilians. At one point this group of girls in their early twenties or so came up and asked her what we were doing, if we were shooting something or not.

Now my mum is a bit of a joker so her first reaction was this: "oh yeah, they're shooting the new H2o trailer here! Were just waiting for the crowd to die out and were gonna come back tonight to finish filming" (it was very crowded at that point) and they believed her haha.
