mermaid chair for my mermaid tush

the two ideas I have for a mermaid chair are:

get an ordinary, borning chair and put a mermaid blue blanket over it with fishnetting

find a rock (like at Home Depot) and sit on it

any other fun, creative ideas out there?

I plan on somehow procuring a wheelchair and decorating it all fancy with fabric, netting, and various bits to make it more fantasy-like. I like the idea of not putting so much pressure (and weight!) on my mertender every time I want to move...

Maybe put the rock on one of those little wheeled dollies they use for moving heavy furniture/appliances, so it would roll more easily?

I once saw a wheelchair at a garage sale for only $30. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it. I'd love to find an old fashioned wheelchair, with a wicker seat. Huh. Wonder if I could just put wheels on a wicker chair..... This bears some thinking about. Ohhh! It would be cool to put wheels on something like this! Or even better, something like this one!

I would KILL for that old wheelchair!

The only way you could put wheels on one of the chaise lounges would be to put it on a platform with wheels. The wicker would not hold up to the stress.

You can't see much of it here, but this is on a mechanics dolly with a sheet of plywood on top:

My friend and I painted chairs for our school library and one of them we made sea themed.
