How to track time without pressure?
How do you effectively track employees' working hours without creating a feeling of total control? It's important for me to make the team feel comfortable, not like they're being watched all the time. Sometimes you want to make sure that tasks are completed on time, but you don't want your employees to think that they are being watched every second.

Control is an important aspect of work, but when it turns into total surveillance, it can undermine motivation and cause dissatisfaction in the team. I faced this problem myself when I started working with remote employees. It's important not just to keep track of time, but to give people freedom within reasonable control. Tools that record productivity but do not interfere with the work process are a great help here. For example https://www.monitask.com/en/ is a handy system that tracks working time, takes screenshots and analyses activity, but doesn't create a sense of surveillance. Transparency is key. If the team understands that the goal is not control for control's sake, but to optimise work processes, the perception will be quite different. A combined approach also works well: clearly defined KPIs, flexible schedules and trust in employees

The topic is really interesting, because many companies face such a dilemma. On the one hand, without control, it is difficult to assess the effectiveness of work, especially if the team is remote. On the other hand, too rigid methods can only do harm. I would say that a lot depends on the culture within the company. If people understand why time is tracked in the first place and feel trust, they themselves will work more organised.
