From the member map it looks like Denver or Salt Lake City would be the best places to have a meet up.
I'd definitely love to come to a meet-up but unfortunately I'm in the process of relocating so I can't really afford to go very far from where I am. Which sucks, but I'll do my best
Yay there's people here! We could always start with something smaller. A trip to the aquarium, grabbing some lunch and a movie. That sorta thing.
I would love to get a meet up going. I'm not sure how to accomplish it though, or even if I would want to claim responsibility for something like that, since I have som many other things happening right now.. (getting a house, new tail, sculpting a couple of tops, plus the normal routine of toddler, husband, housecleaning...)

I think heading to the aquarium in Denver would be a ton of fun! I can't foresee what my schedule will look like this summer, but if we go ahead and set a date, I'll try to keep that time clear. Does anybody in the Denver area know of mer-friendly pools?

let's look for something in july maybe try a resevior like cherry creek for a day on the beach. a bit of tail flopping. of course we do have to think about our fellow mers west of the rockies also. The more input we have the better we can all plan on something.
Not in denver, but I know the pool at the golden community center allows mermaids so long as they seem well versed in how to swim so the lifegaurds don't have to worry.Originally Posted by Mermaid Sparkle

"Ouch"?! That hurt. I am still here.
I'm still on it about the drive. If I can make it out for a meet-up, that'd be amazing, but I already have a family trip I'm planning for the early summer, up to the northwest. That one has to be priority because I haven't seen those cousins in over 5 years, few have ever met my hubby, and NONE have met my baby.
I'm afraid that might have to be the only trip I take this year.

Do we have a specific time in mind? It turns out that I'm moving sooner than I had anticipated and I might be in a better position to head out to the Denver area this summer after all, but I've got a lot going on in the summer, too, so I'd like to know what to plan around.
Also, edited to add that if I do end up going, I'm more than happy to also chauffer other Utah mers who'd like to go and we can split gas or something

July should be fine for me. I'm not available the 17-19, but other than that it should be pretty wide open. Other thoughts?
