I was looking through my Yahoo. An cam across this an wanted to share. It's really cool. An for you Mermaids that live in Florida could be a possable job.

Hm. Sounds like a nice idea, but in fact it could also be an aftermath of an april's fools joke.
pro:

• underwater weddings are possible and have been done
• a mermaid wedding would "just" take the concept a step further

con:

• the article states "[...] The package, launched on April 1, doesn't come with scuba gear [...]", but the ceremony relies on the freediving abilities of the bride and groom
  
  • which gives at best an estimated 1m30s per dive (and that's an optimistic guess, I think). Not sure if a proper ceremony would be possible if interrupted that often.
  • The date of the package launch makes me suspicious
  
  

Nevertheless, even if that actual article is in fact meant as a joke, the idea itself is at least worth thinking about.
