I went for a swim the other day, and it was absolutely amazing! I have some photos and video, but I have to go through and edit them first. The silicone is so much easier to swim in than my previous fabric and neoprene tail, and it looks amazing underwater! I've also painted my stripes on now, will update with photos soon!
Unfortunately it is slightly too low in the back and slips down my butt when I swim, but I'll just extend it slightly
I've also had problems with the paint peeling off, which is really sad because it never looks as good the second time. Does anyone know why this could be?

The first layer of paint was done by hand, the layers after that were all done with an airbrush.

OKS, thank you , you have paint thinner added to the mixture of silicone with pigments? to paint with the airbrush? which is the amount to be added? that percentage? thank you very much

Yes, I mixed it with naptha (known as shellite in some countries). There is no set percentage, essentially you add enough to get a milk-like consistency. If it doesn't go through your airbrush, add more!
