    Moo's Mermaids finally here

you might remember if you've been here a while, our Asian tail maker, Moo who made lovely koi/goldfish tails. The project he worked on finally has a trailer

Back in the day Moo came on here and posted photos and videos of the stuff in progress. He also takes commissions! I've got him as a FB friend and keep in touch. Hope to own one some day! Moo does spfx freelance and does a lot of zombies and horror stuff too. He's a swell guy

    (he made this orca too)

His tails are so gorgeous. The length and shape of them, imo, is incredibly realistic. Maybe even more so than the H2O tails. So glad to see the trailer for the movie!

    Very impressed with that orca.

are you sure they didn't just take a real one and stuffed it?
(because that would be no prob in Asia )

Oh 4500 that sounds about right. I'm assuming those are foot pocketed?

I'm pretty sure they're not extended, but just have the bodycasting/neoprene lining part of the JMBFX tails. Fairly certain...I don't see any sort of extension when they swim.

That's Latexman on youtube, no? (Something like that?) I LOVE his work...part of the inspiration for my scales!

Now I am rethinking the hip placement of my hip fins... I love how they flow on the sides!

I remember seeing a bit of his work when first venturing into being a mer! I had no idea the orca was from him - I loved watching him make it though! Great artist
