I'm putting this out there after the comment Blaze made on another thread.

I have an annual pass to Sea Life and with that I get 6 people in for $10 each...normally the price for an adult is $17+tax online or $20+tax at the door. I would be willing to use my discounts for a pod meetup if there are people interested in going.

This would be AMAZING! Perhaps we could contact the venue once we have a date (early August is best for me, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays) and let them know we're coming. Perhaps they'd let us in at no charge... We're great for business! :-)

I normally work on Thursday but if I know far enough in advance I can take a PTO day.

I'm not sure I'm the right person to contact them. I've never gone anywhere as a mermaid. I'm still waiting for my monofin so I can make my first tail.

I work Monday through Friday but I do have every other Friday off.

I don't know that this would be an appropriate place to actually go in tails...

When I was submitting to all the local water parks, there were several with the word Sea in them (smaller ones on the outer edges of DFW.) There is also Sea Life Park in Hawaii where you can swim with dolphins, etc. I wasn't paying much attention to the name.

Fridays Saturdays & Sundays work best for me because I sleep during the day Mondays thru Thursdays.

I'm in too if we pick a date! I have all days open until late August when I have to start teacher in service. Then it will be free on weekends and free after 4:30 Mon-Fri.

August is best for me. I'm always free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and it's up to chance if I'm off the other days. Sounds like Fridays are best for most- or weekends. Let me know what you decide. Would love to meet everyone!

Every other Friday I have off (Starting this Friday the 18th for reference) and weekends are hit or miss for my usually too; Sunday is the best option at that point.
