I am so excited I've finally moved my second book process into the final stages! Editing, formatting and soon.. TO PRINT. Wee. I don't have an exact release date yet but
"Fishy Business: My Life as a Mermaid" will be coming out soon. It documents over a year of my life working as a pro mermaid. The ups and downs and funnies! Plus there are loads of mermaidy tips inside and I think it'll inspire many! I am so so so excited

This is the follow up to Fishy Business: How to be a Mermaid

I am hoping when all is said and done there will be 3 books in the series

I'll be updating this thread with release info and more! As usual I'll be posting the coupon codes etc in this one too.

Sean ended up taking this photo of me yesterday and I think it would be excellent for the back cover:

I think the negative space on the right is perfect for the book summary and the ISBN barcode. I haven't tested it out yet but I just received my digital ISBN number so I'm going to try it wth gimp and see if I like the placement.

the thirs will probably just be a documentation of all our business expansion with more tips and stories.

#2 should be out soon Sometime before the end of October

Here is the front and back cover MOCK up for my next book! I am hoping to publish it by the end of this month and have a local book release either at the end of Sept or beginning of Oct.
This is just a mockup- there are more tweaks needed. But I'm happy so far. Left is front cover, right is back. Both images were taken by Sean and then edited by me. I know they look a little weird next to each other but they look really nice when actually laid out for a book These are two of my favourite images from this summer. Mind the typo. Just a mock up

Yaaaaaaaaaay just sent the draft off to the local printer to be printed. Everything is all assembled just waiting to get it back so we can go over the final details. After this, we send it to the publisher who will then send us a proof copy

once the proof copy is approved (maybe if I am lucky it'll be first try) we'll be officially launching.

I'm so happy to finally have it all done!
