hello ^^ My Name is Alyssa, but I prefer to be called 'Lunette'. I hope you all are feeling wonderful. I have only been on mernetwork for a few weeks now (perhaps a month at most) and I am very excited to get into the swim of things. I do not have a tail yet but I am currently on the hunt and already have my dream tail design (which was drawn by my dear mer-sister Lotus_blooming, AKA Lotus <3 ) now it is merely finding the right tailmaker who is up for all the specifics ^_^ .

I'm not sure at the moment. I'd love a merbella silicone tail. But they're so expensive and my job hardly pays enough for my bills. So I'm thinking of the mertailor's partial silicone tail.

oh, umm, I would STRONGLY suggest you look at mertailor reviews before you do that...I won't say anything since I have not ordered a tail from him but, I have heard some 'things"

however, finfolk costs about as much as merbellla HOWEVER, the take payment plans! so you only have to pay the %50 price up front and the rest within 6 months ^____^

yes! so I think the %50 is still a bit more than the mertailor, however personally i think finfolk have quite a few cool fluke designs and plus you have a template you can draw so you have your own custom color design, for no extra charge ^^ (they specifically say they do not charge more for extra colors, so you can go pretty wild) I highly recommend them ^^

well, from what I have seen I mean ^__^ they are on facebook you should check them out! just search finfolk productions!

While I love the popular tailmakers who are so effing busy it takes over a year to get a tail, no one ever mentions the up and coming tailmakers like Jessica, Jazz, Firemaid, Julz, among others...These folks are doing fabulous work and at substantially lower prices because they are just going pro now.

Do a little digging and you might find a gem!

I'm on limited funds like many others but rather than stressing over saving money I opted to make my own first tail from fabric. I have a thread in the "Tail Making" section that shows my progress.
