There are 3 of us in Arlington that would LOVE to have monthly meet ups! We could do anything! I personally would love to meet fellow mersisters!
The problem I am seeing is people aren't willing to drive to meet other people & DFW is BIG. There is a 2 day event this weekend that I've been promoting for a while now but you've been saying you won't come unless you can get a ride? Have you hear of Uber? It's a pretty nifty transportation service; they can locate you by GPS via your phone and you can request one via an app. I usually use their 'UberX' which is an economy car and it's really reasonably priced. I've use Uber in many cities and multiple states & it's awesome!

As far as the monthly meetups go I can't commit to anything on a regular basis as my schedule changes so much but generally Sundays in early afternoon are best.

You should definitely figure when is best for a meet! We can always meet whenever if you want, doesn't have to be 'official'. Missing little monthly meets is no big deal, anyway. It's bigger stuff like the statewide meet I'd be more concerned about.

I'm in Dallas, but my work schedule is so crazy that I usually have no idea what days I'm working until the week ahead of time. The only time I can be somewhat sure of being somewhere is at most of the Ren Faires in Texas.

I'd be interested in having a meet up. In fact, I have access to a heated indoor pool here in Arlington. Monthly is hard- I'm self employed/free lance, so my schedule is a bit wonky. However, quarterly meetups would def be an option!

I'd be interested, but I can only meet on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays during the day.
Sorry its not a great schedule of availability. My work times make my schedule kinda crazy.
